Mushkin has added a new storage capacity to its Callisto deluxe SSD line-up by launching the 40GB model. Just like its predecessors, this 2.5-inch SSD is also equipped with the latest SandForce SF-1200 controller, a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, a MTBF of 2 million hours, up to 50,000 IOPS of random write performance and promises to deliver read and write speeds of up to 285MB/s and 275MB/s respectively. The 40GB Callisto deluxe SSD is currently available in Europe for 108 Euro (about $137) and comes bundled with a 2.5-inch to 3.5-inch adapter. [Softpedia]
