
ViewSonic has officially announced their first Android tablet that comes with phone functionality. Dubbed as the ViewPad 7, this pocket-sized device is equipped with a 7-inch 800 x 480 capacitive touchscreen display, a 3-megapixel camera, a front-facing VGA camera for video calling, a full-sized SIM card slot, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), a G-sensor, A-GPS, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and runs on Android 2.2 Froyo OS. The ViewPad 7 is expected to be launched in October for around $540. [Engadget]
