Hauppauge today launched the PCTV Broadway 2T. The gadget is capable of streaming TV to any iOS-powered device, Mac or PC without the need for a 3rd party app. The Broadway 2T requires no computer to work, where it will hook up to your wired or Wi-Fi network, carrying a couple of dual DVB-T tuners in the process to enable streaming. PCTV is on the right track with the release of the T2. They seem to be following the tracks of Sling technology, but with a higher price tag. I recently went with Sling technology, and can now stream live TV and DVR recordings to my phone. I use the Remote Access app from my employer, DISH Network, to do so. Although I couldn’t be happier now, PCTV is definitely catching up.
