Buffalo Japan today launched a new ultra-slim USB 2.0 portable DVD drive, the DVSM-PC58U2V. Powered by the USB port, this slim portable DVD drive supports an 8x DVD+/-R read/write speed. The device comes bundled with the CyberLink DVD software suite to burn DVDs and CDs for backup. Available in black or white, the Buffalo DVSM-PC58U2 is priced at 47,000 Yen($40).
