Philips India has just listed another quad-core Android 4.4 smartphone on its product page. Called the S398, this mid-range smartphone is packed with a 5.0-inch 1280 x 720 HD IPS display, a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor, a 1GB RAM, an 8GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot (up to 32GB). Powered by a 2040mAh battery, the handset has dual SIM card slots, an FM radio, a 2MP front-facing camera and an 8MP rear-facing camera with LED flash, and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. Connectivity-wise, the S398 provides 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS/A-GPS. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing and release date yet. [Product Page]
